OVERVIEW:
ATON is a trusted advisor and on-call EH&S consultant for Lincoln Industrial Corporation, a manufacturer of automated lubrication systems, manual lubrication equipment and industrial pumping systems, and subsidiary of Svenska Kullagerfabriken AB (SKF) who are responsible for many of the inventions that established modern lubrication practices in automotive maintenance and industry.
The Project:
Our team has prepared annual environmental reports for submittal to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and various state and local regulatory agencies. We have assisted with environmental, health & safety compliance efforts, specifically for Form R submittals, wastewater sampling and permitting, industrial hygiene (IH) monitoring, asbestos sampling and abatement, PCB transformer removal, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, hazardous materials sampling and abatement, and waste characterization and disposal.
ATON completed annual air emissions training for approximately 100 employees to properly handle solvent degreaser used in the cleaning of metal parts and to comply with local, State, and Federal Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission standards. As part of plant air quality compliance efforts, we have also evaluated Hazardous Air Pollutant (HAP) emissions from facility paint booth operations to determine additional permitting requirements and health & safety compliance.
