Commercial Liability Partners (CLP) is a national brownfields developer and leading environmental liability assumption firm that specializes in repurposing contaminated industrial sites for reuse. ATON has served as a trusted technical partner for many CLP sites throughout the United States.
In this role, ATON assists CLP and its team of experts with environmental underwriting of sites that Commercial Liability Partners is evaluating or currently managing, and utilizes current and historical environmental data to create a site clean-up and redevelopment plan with accompanying schedule and budget. As CLP acquires often underperforming and distressed real estate assets, ATON then works with the appropriate regulatory agencies and stakeholder to develop further site investigation and remediation plans, and assists with negotiating and obtaining the necessary approvals and permits for a successful cleanup approach and site closure.
In addition to addressing site environmental concerns, ATON also assist with managing the necessary abatement and demolition of structures on-site. ATON has provided these services in multiple states and through many different regulatory programs. While the regulatory environment may differ state-to-state and each site presents its own unique challenges, ATON continues to provide comprehensive services to our partners and strives to complete response actions promptly to ensure development sites are successfully placed back in beneficial reuse.
